I am a professor of Environmental Politics at Hamilton College, in Clinton New York. I started this blog as part of a course on the theory and politics of place and have had my students submit postings. Though the academic year is now over, I am continuing this blog and continuing to invite my former students to post. The blog covers issues of place, sustainability, urban and regional planning, local agriculture, displacement, etc.
